Enjoy Polar Bear, their new EP should be out around November 10th (they say "ish").

Robot Solves Rubik's Cube Before Me...

I've been working on one for years...my Homer head Rubik's cube, but I'm not any better at the regular Rubik's either.

Check this robot out:

On a side note, here's the new Transformers cube as well:

Gamefly Used Game Blowout...

If there's two things you know about me, I'm usually cheap, and I like games

Although I'm not a subscriber, I have gotten a few used games from GameFly before.  They're a great deal, and they've come in perfect condition (including case and manual, etc).

They're having a used game sale, with many popular titles under $20, it's hard to beat.

Check it out at GameFly.

Paranormal Acitivity - Movie

The movie looks pretty fun to watch, I didn't get a chance to see it when it was playing here on limited run, but heard good things about it.  If you'd like it released near you, fill out the form here:

Free* Street Fighter Lithograph

By "free" they mean +$11 for shipping, but they're still awesome pieces, and I'm a sucker for Street Fighter art.

NIN Retires...

In other news that will make you feel old, Trent Reznor is ritiring the NIN bands in the next few days, with the final shows coming up in the LA area.  I still remember listening to Pretty Hate Machine and Broken nonstop for almost a year

Anyway, I don't think you can keep a creative guy like that down for long.  Maybe he's just retiring from touring, and will keep making music in his studio?  Who knows...

If no new music comes out, then I guess it was fun while it lasted.

Here's a link to the LA Times article.

Disney to buy Marvel for $4B

This one seemed to come out of nowhere.  Not sure if this is good or bad, would there have been the recent re-release of Marvel vs Capcom 2 if this was already true?

How will this affect the new Iron Man that's already in production?

PS3 News rundown

Sony had a lot of great news yesterday, for the majority of people, it's the $100 price cut.  I certainly hope it helps increase the PS3 userbase, I got mine for about $300, almost a year ago now with a promotion that Sony was doing at the time.  To me, the $100 savings did make a big difference.

I certainly love the system, no complaints.  One of the coolest features is definitely streaming from a media server.

Anyway, here's the PS3 News rundown, which also includes tidbits of the new 3.0 firmware coming.  Also note, the new PS3 slim does not have Linux compatability, so if you want to install Linux/MAME on your PS3, pick up a current model, which also includes the price cut!

With news of the XBox railure rate, maybe we will get more users  (not to say that if someone gave me an xbox, or I got one really cheap that I wouldn't use it!)
