Dave Chappelle On Oprah

Got this from my friend Keitcha:

*Dave Chappelle's first television interview since abruptly leaving his
Comedy Central show last year will be with - who else - Oprah Winfrey.

In the pre-taped sit down, set to air Friday (Feb. 3), Chappelle is
expected to explain why he decided to walk away from his top-rated
"Chappelle's Show" and a $50 million deal with the network. He'll also talk
about his sudden trip to South Africa in the midst of all the drama. (They
may also discuss a memorable "Chappelle's Show" skit in which he quits his
job after fathering Oprah's baby - believing he'll be set for life.)

While Time magazine found him South Africa and scored the first
interview with the comedian following his departure, Oprah's face-to-face
will be the first time he'll discuss the matter before a television
audience.

Chappelle has denied reports that his erratic behavior was because of
a mental breakdown or drug addiction. He said his trip to the Mother Land
was simply to rest and do some soul searching.
