Finally got to see Jarhead. I'd been wanting to see it for a long time now, which is actually surprising because I'm not that into "war" movies.

Anyway, it was good, I'd recommend it, and you get to hear Nirvana on a soundtrack for once :)

It actually turned out to be more about the frustration and loneliness that the Marines feel (felt) out there than about the Gulf War. Also, about how they're stuck in some sort of "limbo" because nothing "real" happens out in the desert, but in the meantime everyone's life back at home keeps going on.
