PS3 News rundown
Sony had a lot of great news yesterday, for the majority of people, it's the $100 price cut. I certainly hope it helps increase the PS3 userbase, I got mine for about $300, almost a year ago now with a promotion that Sony was doing at the time. To me, the $100 savings did make a big difference.
I certainly love the system, no complaints. One of the coolest features is definitely streaming from a media server.
Anyway, here's the PS3 News rundown, which also includes tidbits of the new 3.0 firmware coming. Also note, the new PS3 slim does not have Linux compatability, so if you want to install Linux/MAME on your PS3, pick up a current model, which also includes the price cut!
With news of the XBox railure rate, maybe we will get more users 
(not to say that if someone gave me an xbox, or I got one really cheap that I wouldn't use it!)

Yeah, you've got some good points about the features of the PS3. It's pretty superior to the Xbox. Not to mention, online play is free, which could be considered a price cut since it's expensive to pay for Xbox Live.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get something done.....
